Core Housing of Central Florida is an independent transitional housing program dedicated to providing safe, stable, and structured living environments for adults facing housing instability. We serve individuals who are overcoming substance use challenges, managing mental health conditions, transitioning from incarceration or foster care, or experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to create a foundation where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity, accountability, and support.
We believe housing is more than shelter it is the starting point for healing, growth, and long-term independence.

We offer independent transitional housing designed for individuals who are capable of managing their daily responsibilities on their own. Residents live with minimal hands-on assistance and are expected to function independently while benefiting from a supportive peer environment.
Our housing model emphasizes personal responsibility, accountability, and mutual support among residents. Individuals largely manage their own schedules, appointments, employment, and personal needs, relying primarily on themselves and the encouragement of those they live with—not ongoing direct services.
Housing options may include:
Residents are expected to contribute to household responsibilities, respect shared spaces, and support one another throughout their transitional journey.

For someone facing homelessness, a safe place to sleep can mean the difference between giving up and starting over.
