Rebuilding after incarceration can be challenging, especially when stable housing is difficult to find. Core Housing of Central Florida provides independent housing options for returning citizens who are ready to move forward, rebuild stability, and take the next step toward a successful future.
We believe a person’s past should not prevent them from having an opportunity to build a better tomorrow.

HOUSING AFTER RELEASE
Finding housing after release can be one of the biggest barriers to starting over. Our goal is to provide a safe, stable living environment where residents can focus on employment, personal goals, family responsibilities, and long-term stability.
Housing may include:
✓ Shared living
✓ Semi-private or private rooms
✓ Short-term or long-term placement
✓ Structured sober housing
✓ Move-in-ready options
Availability varies by location and individual circumstances.
WHO WE MAY ASSIST
We welcome inquiries from individuals who are:
✓ Recently released from jail or prison
✓ Preparing for reentry into the community
✓ Experiencing housing barriers because of their background
✓ Referred by probation, reentry programs, case managers, or community organizations
✓ Able to live independently
✓ Ready to follow household rules and maintain a peaceful living environment
Each placement is reviewed individually and is subject to eligibility, property availability, location requirements, and applicable restrictions.
MORE THAN A PLACE TO STAY
Stable housing is often the first step toward rebuilding your life.
Through Core Housing and our community support network, residents may also receive assistance connecting with resources such as:
✓ Employment and job-search assistance
✓ Resume preparation
✓ SNAP/EBT and Medicaid application assistance
✓ Identification recovery assistance
✓ Community resources and referrals
✓ Transportation resources when available
Our goal is to help residents become more stable, independent, and prepared for their next step.
